T-Ara representatives: Hwayoung got arrogant

With popular group T-Ara being the center of controversy in the Korean entertainment industry and to those Hallyu followers, a representative of the group has opened up about the controversy.

On the August 3rd broadcast of Entertainment Exclusive, the rep stated during an interview, “Hwayoung was the last to join the group. I’m sure she thought she was working hard, but that probably wasn’t the case from the original members’ point of view.”

“Afterwards, Hwayoung developed a ‘celebrity complex’. She got arrogant, because she was a member of T-ara and she was also a celebrity. The other members started disciplining her about that, then things began escalating and ultimately got to where it is now.”

Another representative added, “There are probably a few members within T-ara that got along with Hwayoung. But the more influential members’ voices most likely became harder to ignore, and the members were probably in a difficult predicament where they had to choose a side.”

Netizens commented, “This will be the closest thing we have to the truth. I think hwayoung isnt all innocent like netizens claim her to be”, “How can HwaYoung get arrogant when she had no lines in T-ara's songs and wasn't particularly popular compared to the other members? CEO's handwritten apology

CEO Kim Kwangsoo of Core Contents Media has finally revealed a handwritten apology over this never-ending controversy surrounding T-Ara and recently terminated member Hwayoung.

"This is Core Contents Media's CEO Kim Kwangsoo. After Hwayoung's contract was terminated, there were many people who misunderstood what was said and lead to more misunderstandings about bullying and a blur to what happen. I apologize and bow my head. There is a lot of love for T-ara. I consider all the T-Jinyo and Sajeongyeon members to be people who love T-ara. I would like to thank the many who held interest and concerns and watched over T-ara and will meet with whoever necessary to clear the air. I hope that Hwayoung finds an agency that will help her study music and become a better rapper and artist. Please give a lot of interest and support to Hwayoung's next move in music."

He finished with a comment on himself which was, "I'll strive to be more careful and not as reckless in front of the public's eyes. Again, I'd like to apologize for causing a lot of misunderstandings and a lot of social interest over this topic.”

Jason still loves Melai

Despite breaking up months ago, actor-comedian Jason Francisco still hopes to rekindle romance with Melai Cantiveros. Even if that remains uncertain, Jason is grateful enough to have salvaged his friendship with Melai.

“I’m still hoping for us to get back together again. We’re still keeping in touch, actually. We hang out with friends. She likes it that way,” he shared.

He shared he was heartbroken over his breakup with the sexy comedian so it is difficult for him to open up to someone anew. Contrary to reports, he hasn't gotten back into dating. "Honest to God, I’m not dating anyone."

Recall that the Pinoy Big Brother alumnus’ separation was made known publicly after their confrontation last February while inside the PBB house. In a previous report, Jason said their rift stemmed from an incident wherein he forgot to invite Melai to join him in a party.

Apparently, having a solid fanbase is not always to the stars' advantage. As public figures, he said that their fans’ expectations have been a major aspect in their relationship.

SHINee Key spotted shopping

One brand released a photo of SHINee's Key shopping at the the mall at Sinsa-dong in a fashionable outfit. In the uploaded photo, the singer is wearing skinny jeans with black printed shirt, white bag and walker. The unique hat especially showed off his good fashion sense.

The worker for the brand said “Key showed alot of interested in designer’s unique item and was mainly shopping for a gift for Taemin.”

Boram didn't break Hwayoung's umbrella

Following the recent contract termination of Hwayoung from T-Ara and Core Contents Media, numerous netizens have been flooding the intenet with pictures of the so-called bullying in the group which resulted to all of the misfortunes that they have been facing these days. One bullying incident that trended was during the recent recording on MBC Idol Star Olympics. Pictures of Boram destroying Hwayoung's umbrella sprouted and caused more fire to the flame. However, many loyal fans found evidence to prove some haters wrong. Check out the videos below.

Show Luo: I don't believe in marriage

Show Luo turned 33 on July 30 and the actor made a shocking statement - he does not believe in marriage - during his famous personas-themed birthday bash.

Show, who has celebrated his past five birthdays with his fans, took two days off to rest and spend some time on his own. The singer, who engages in extensive charity work, decided to hold a simple birthday party with friends and family. Show also requested that fans and friends not bestow birthday presents on him and instead channel their resources to those in need.

Friends appeared in dressed like all sorts of characters, including Justice Bao and even his mother, but the best costume of the day was the Party Boys with their seven dwarves getup. At the cake-cutting ceremony, Show declared that his birthday wish was for everyone to be healthy, which then prompted his friends to tease him about not wishing to find a girlfriend.

He then shocked the room with his announcement, "I don't believe in marriage, hence I won't waste my wishes on affairs of the heart; I'd rather wish for smooth sailing in my career."

Show's manager has commented, "This is the first time I've heard him dismiss marriage, but I'm guessing what he means is that he's married to his fans."
