Ethan and Tifanny on the rocks?

Taiwanese stars Ethan Ruan and Tiffany Hsu once said declared their relationship stable and unchanging, but things are not as smooth-sailing now for the couple of four years due to a recent hiccup allegedly involving Korean actress Yoon Eun-Hye.

Ethan has been reportedly been making numerous secret phone calls to Eun-hye in recent days without Tiffany's knowledge or consent. When she found out about the calls, she is said to have confronted him about the matter and the two broke up after a heated argument. To add on to that, it was reported that Ethan did not return to their shared home for two weeks during their fight.

However, the two have reportedly made up after Ethan begged for forgiveness, but Tiffany is said to be re-evaluating the relationship as she believes the trust between the two has since been compromised. The couple have both denied the rumours, with Tiffany stating, "We didn't have any fight at all. The reports say he wasn't home for two weeks but kept catching us together, isn't it contradictory?"

Ethan and Eun-hye first met on the set while endorsing a certain mobile phone brand. Things were awkward on-set at first but the pair quickly warmed up to each other as sweet-talking Ethan managed to converse with her despite the language barrier.
