Vanness Wu and his wife Arissa Cheo had an exchange of not-so-good words through Instagram recently. The Internet is never the best place for a married couple to air their dirty laundry, but it seemed that they didn't get the memo. According to On CC News, rumours of the couple's marital rift circulated the web, when the Singaporean heiress turned to her Instagram and wrote, "I'm going to give you the same amount of effort as you give me."
In a later post, Arissa was reprimanded by a follower when she wrote "Merry fxxkin Christmas!".
The follower, who said that her use of profanity reflect badly on her husband's faith, received another message from the heiress, which said, "What faith? Fake faith. Don't believe the hype. Wake up. What's real and what's not. What you see on the telly is definitely not real. Don't tell me what I know. And I swear if I want. Go away."
Vanness, on the other hand, turned to his own Instagram and wrote, "Watch your tongue", but quickly deleted it. The couple later deleted the messages and unfollowed each other's accounts, triggering speculations that there is in fact, trouble in paradise.
Though the Taiwanese singer refused to talk about the issue, on 1 January, he went on Instagram to post a photo of a chalk writing on a black board that said, "And now, let us begin the New Year, full of things that have never been-", and wrote, "Blessed New Year" - as if telling everybody to forget the things that have happened earlier.
