Rain makes BEG's Narsha nervous

A picture of Rain and Narsha has been giving much laughter to netizens.

Recently, Rain was a guest for Narsha’s radio station Raise The Volume. After the radio airing, it’s pretty much tradition for the radio host to take a picture with the guests. However, Narsha looked a bit “ill” and stiff in her photos with her own guest, Rain. And why not, after her remark about her being extremely nervous about meeting Rain earlier.

During the actual radio broadcast, all seemed well between the two as they conversated and bickered like good friends, but as soon as the airing button was off and the camera was on, Narsha became stiff as a mannequin. One netizen commented, “She got nervous standing next to a handsome guy.“

Mothers' Day Special Report: Jerry Yan's mom gives him 85%

Jerry Yan has become a super idol, but his mother only gave him 85/100, because she is hurt that he doesn't love himself enough, and works too hard to make money. On the other hand, Jerry wishes his mother wouldn't be so frugal, because when he bought her a jade bracelet worth $3 million, she was too scared to wear it, and keeps it for appearances even now.

Coming from a single parent family, Jerry had a hard childhood, and his other brought him and his sister up through her tailoring work. In the past, his mother's health was never very good, and refused to spend money to see the doctor, which caused many arguments between them. When he first debuted, he would hike up Yang Ming Shan to get a special herb that improved his mother's health, and eight years later, he still does, other than if he's very busy or is out of town, in which case he asks his brother in law to substitute for him.

His income lately has been quite extravagant, but his mother still acts frugally; to provide better for her, Jerry has had to resort to darker means. For example, before he returns home, he will tell his mother in advance of what vegetables he wants to eat, so that she will relent to buy it out of love for him. Also, everytime she squeezes fresh juice, he only drinks 1/3 of it, and uses her frugal attitude against her, knowing that she won't want to waste the remainder and will therefore drink the rest.

Last year, he brought his mother to a jewelry store on the premise that he needed her hand to try on a jade bracelet for a friend's present. After she tried it on, he didn't let her take it off, but once she heard the price was $3 million, she immediately took it off. Jerry bought it anyway and to this day, she is still too scared to wear it.

No criteria for daughter in law, never hurried Jerry to get married
Jerry said, "I really like buying things for my mom, every mom deserves good treatment from their kids." However, his mother feels that it's fine just living a regular life, and doesn't want to see her son work so hard. "Humans need to get used to a simple lifestyle, in order to not let troubles determine how they live."

His mother has a very traditional outlook on her son's marriage, as long as he's happy, then she's happy. She doesn't have a limit on what age he needs to be to get married, and has no criteria for her daughter in law either, only that her son loves her. This Mother's Day, she hopes that her hardworking son can be home for dinner, and Jerry has also cleared his work schedule so that he can be with his mother.

"The largest incentive for me to work so hard is to make my mother proud." A few years ago, he accompanied his mother to a relative's wedding, but the reception turned into an autograph session for him, and when he lifted his head, he would see his mother smile. In that short moment, he really felt that he had made his mother proud, "That was the happiest day of my life, happier than me earning $1 billion."

Taiwan ELF's wish BIG success for Suju!

Something special happened on May 5th as the large LED display of Galleria Department Store in Seoul, Apgujeong showed a message from Super Junior fans, wishing their idols big success on their impending comeback!

This special event was made possible by Super Junior fans from Taiwan as they bought over a timeslot from the department store at 7pm on May 5th and displayed a message in Chinese that read, “今年五月! SJ 4輯大發!‘ which literally mean that they wish big success for Super Junior’s 4th album this May! This unusual event certainly attracted the attention of netizens and those walking on the streets. I wonder if this will start off another trend among the fans.

Donghae apparently got wind of this special event and went directly to the scene, taking a picture as a memory and thanked fans for their support. He said, “I am really suprised and impressed by this special event, and their love and devotion towards us. I know they expect great music from us and we will work hard to repay them on stage.”

Super Junior’s lovably eccentric member Heechul might have shown his awkward fetish for cat butts recently, but he definitely appeased the worry that some fans held regarding his sanity with another recent photo during another one of his DJ sessions.

SNSD’s YoonA was a recent guest on Heechul’s radio show, but rather than being fawned over by her fellow SM family member, she received the cold shoulder. Heechul’s interests remained fixated upon a cardboard cutout of Wonder Girls' member Sohee doing her famous “OMONA!” pose from the top girl quintet’s Tell Me days.

Meanwhile, Epik High member Mithra Jin shyly turned away from YoonA, not-so-subtly exposing his inner fanboy self. It’s been a while since the Wonder Girls have been in Korea, so it’s pretty surprising that Heechul still faithfully holds Sohee so near and dear to his heart. He must be preparing himself emotionally for the upcoming episode of Family Outing 2 with the Wonder Girls. Talk about a dream come true!

Super Junior confirms comeback with ten members on May 13!

The date has been finally set for their return – Super Juniorwill officially be making their comeback on May 13th with their brand new 4th album. As predicted by many, the group will launch their activities without three of their members: Kangin, Hankyung and Kibum.

SM Entertainment revealed, “Excluding Kangin who is planning to get enlisted in the army, Kibum who is currently focusing on his acting career, and Hankyung who is in middle of a lawsuit, ten members of Super Junior have participated in this production. Only those ten members will be joining the activities for the album as well.”

It would be an understatement to say this album is highly anticipated, especially due to the fact that fans have been waiting for over a year and half. However, the absence of three members seems to be pretty bittersweet for fans, especially since with the surprising announcement regarding Kangin enlisting in the army.

Super Junior expressed, “We hope that Kangin will spend his military years well, and we believe Kibum will deeply focus on acting and show the audience a better image as an actor.” The boys also added, “We are in a situation in which we can’t even contact Hankyung in any way. We hope he can join us soon.”
