Han Geng gets slapped for an intimate scene

Two of Taiwan’s super idols, Wu Chun and ex-Super Junior Han Geng, bravely faced intimate scenes in their movie "My Kingdom" with none other than A-list actress Barbie Xu.

Wu Chun, who had relationship scenes with top actresses before, explained that such a passionate and intimate contact was his first time. Fortunately, Barbie was a great actress and of great help so the two of them quickly became familiar. During the intimate scenes, they had easier chemistry and the result was perfectly smooth. Both only had one or two takes and was finally able to complete their intimate scene.

On the other hand, Han Geng and Barbie’s passionate bed scene was very difficult for him. He shared that he was super nervous during the shoot, and Barbie had to slap him three times before he was able to grasp the emotions.

The entire scene from chasing, kissing, fighting and to the intimate bed scene took a frustrating whole week to shoot. Barbie shared that she couldn’t slap him at first. But when he kept insisting and encouraging her to slap him for real, she finally did it three times. Han Geng’s face had blood traces after a whole day.

Barbie Xu and her improved cooking skills

Ever since her marriage to Wang Xiaofei, Barbie Xu has been slowly bowing out of showbiz and enjoying her life as a housewife.

Barbie and Xiaofei, who proclaimed their love for one another through their microblogs before their marriage, kept the Internet-flirts alive even after they tied the knot.
After Xiaofei posted on his microblog saying that he looked forward to Barbie's home-cooked supper awhile back, the actress personally whipped up a hearty meal for her husband a few days ago.

Barbie excitedly posted on her microblog saying, "My culinary skills have improved a lot! I'm worried that a certain F&B group might headhunt me. So, I hereby declare that I'm only selling myself and not my talent!", seemingly directing the message at her husband who recently took over South Beauty's F&B business.

Apart from that, Barbie shared tips on how to turn a shoe cover into a purse and said, "With a little bit of imagination, you can make something out of nothing."

In other news, when former Super Junior member Han Geng was in Shanghai for a commercial shoot, he met Barbie, who was coincidentally in the studio next to his.

In return for Barbie's treat at her family restaurant, Han Geng thanked Barbie on his microblog and added saying, "I hope you will look upon your problems as something simple and easy."
In response to Han Geng's post, Barbie replied cheekily, "The most unhappy thing is that the male lead is too handsome!"

Another idol couple?

According to Startoday, there just may be yet another idol couple in the works.
Rumors have been floating around that a star girl group member, labeled ‘S’, has ended her relationship with a senior idol member, and started dating an idol member with the initial ‘K’, who is of the same age.
With a cute, pure image, ‘S’ has built a huge male following. She looks especially young for her age and has been receiving much love for her bubbly image.
A music industry representative commented, “‘S’ is not the most popular member in her group because she belongs to such a popular group, but there are many good words said about her”, and that “she is very popular between seniors and fellow artists in the music industry, and she is approached very often”.
The person added that “‘K’ and ‘S’ were always very good friends, but when ‘S’ got out of her relationship, ‘K’ began flirting with ‘S’, and things are looking pretty serious between them. Their acquaintances have began speculating that they may have started dating”.
So who are these two lovebirds?

After some thorough research on what the netizen investigators of DCinside concluded, the most reasonable pair is KARA’s Han Seungyeon and Super Junior’s Kyuhyun. But of course this is not confirmed, so we’ll just have to wait and see if these rumors are true!

Ariel Lin to retire early?

Ariel Lin announced that she will no longer be shooting television dramas in the next two to three years, and that she has no plans to release a new music album. She also said that her priorities in life have changed a lot after 10 years in showbiz.

The singer-actress explained that she had been thinking about reducing her workload since she's just recovered from an operation to remove a brain cyst in 2009. She's currently filming GTV’s upcoming drama, “I May Not Love You”. But due to the hot weather and her weak metabolism, working overnight has caused her to have tonsillitis. Thus, her mom requested for her to not work so hard.

"Playing the lead in a television series is very tough, like life in the military. Lately, my strength isn't what it used to be. I still like acting, but I feel that I should pursue my dreams only as far as my health permits. I also want to give my time over to people who are important to me."

Apart from her career plans, Lin, who is currently dating a man named Zhen Jia Yao, also revealed that she plans to have a low-key wedding, away from the media spotlight. "All these years, I have satisfied the public's expectations. But on this matter, I might have to be a little selfish."

As they always say, HEALTH IS WEALTH! I wish Ariel happiness and good health that she truly deserves.

Vanness Wu's poor Chinese on BWXXT

Pretty boy Vanness Wu recently appeared on veteran host Chang Hsiao-Yen’s game show, BWXXT (Bai Wan Xiao Xue Tang / Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader) and courageously admitted that he can barely read Chinese. As you may all know, Vanness' family moved to the United States when he was very young, so English became his primary language. When he moved back to Taiwan and started a career in showbiz, it was then that he started learning Chinese.

He shared that he frequently reads the entertainment section of the newspaper everyday to improve on his Chinese. “I usually look at the pictures first before reading, and I can only understand forty percent of the content. I still need someone to be beside me and explain it in order to understand it fully.”

This F4 heartthrob also expressed that he has great interest in Art. However, he isn't very good with subjects that require memorization. " Especially History, I don’t know why I just can’t memorize it. I've only started getting familiar with it after growing up.”

Right at the start of the recording, Vanness immediately asked Chang Hsiao-Yen to assist him more with the questions. Despite Chang Hsiao-Yen was trying her best to give him hints, he still got wrong answers, causing her to almost faint in disbelief. Vanness got through four questions before leaving the stage.

Ken Zhu courts his co-stars on set

Taiwanese actor Ken Zhu has been making his moves on the set of his new drama "Remember, About Us".... and his female co-stars are running away.

The actor, who has been looking depressed since his ex-girlfriend Kelly Lin tied the knot in March this year, has reportedly been trying to move on by hitting on his co-stars. After his failed attempts in courting Michelle Chen and Maggie Wu, he recently shifted his attention to model-turned-actress, Jennifer Chu, who plays his ex-girlfriend in the upcoming drama.

According to an insider, Ken had met Jennifer at a friend's gathering in February. Since then, the actor has been messaging and calling the actress to ask her out for dinner. A few days ago, while the pair was filming a breakup scene which requires zero physical contact, Ken reportedly approached the director to request for an additional intimate scene. After which, Ken reportedly went up to Jennifer and said, "You can't run away from me.", leaving the actress at a loss.

Jennifer Chu
In response to the matter, Jennifer's manager said, "(She) did dine with Ken once," but added that Jennifer is unable to accept Ken's way of courting her. With her busy schedule, the actress has also been rejecting his invitations lately.

On the other hand, Ken's manager defended him saying, "Not every ride or meal is a form of courtship. He's just being a gentleman but his intentions have been misinterpreted. I think it's really rude. To my understanding, this is a really big misunderstanding."
