Super Junior Leeteuk sheds tears during Heechul's last TV appearance

Kim Heechul will be enlisting in the army soon and the other Super Junior members are feeling the sadness and pain of him being away from them for two years.

On Sunday, Heechul, together with the boy band, held his last TV performance on SBS “Inkigayo” music program to promote “Mr. Simple," the title track of their fifth album.  It was a perfect sendoff to Heechul as Super Junior won their second “Inkigayo” Mutizen Song chart award. However, Super Junior’s leader Leeteuk could not help but shed tears as he thanked everyone for the award. "Thank you for giving us this award. Thank you SM family, and Heechul for being a Super Junior member. I love you ", he said.

For his part, Heechul thanked Super Junior members and said he will come back as a healthy person. “Today was my last performance, and I wanted to say thanks to our Super Junior members. I’m thankful to my fellow younger members for always following me. Please listen to your hyungs. And to my friend, Jungsoo (Leeteuk), for always smiling through difficult times. Thank you to all of our managers and crew for putting up with my bad temper. Lastly, I love our fans. I’ll come back safely, stay healthy!

Heechul will be entering the military training camp on September 1 quietly and without fanfare. He is the second Super Junior member to enlist in the military. Kangin enlisted first last year. Leader Leeteuk will also be enlisting soon but no specific date has been confirmed yet.

We wish you good health, Heechulie!!!

Kyuhyun's confessions... which members are dating?

Photobucket
Super Junior’s youngest member, Kyuhyun, leaked out a little secret that some Super Junior members are possibly in a relationship.

On a recent episode of "Strong Heart", MC Kang Ho Dong suddenly asked Super Junior member Kim Heechul, “How many Super Junior members came out today?” Heechul answered, “10 members came out today“. With this, Kang Ho Dong quickly asked, “How many are currently dating out of those 10?
Heechul was visibly tense and started looking around awkwardly at his members making the audience even more suspicious. Shortly after, Kyuhyun said, “From what I know for sure, less than half of the members are dating“.

Even though there is still a chance that none of the members are dating since he pointed out specifically ‘less than half‘, the studio was filled with a mysterious vibe. The other cast members shouted with certainty at Super Junior, “So there are some who are dating! Choi Siwon and Lee Donghae seemed the most suspicious as Siwon awkwardly looked away and Donghae started drinking his water rapidly.

To even increase the viewers’ curiosity,  Heechul jokingly added, “Actually, before we came on the set, some members revealed to me that they broke up with their girlfriends that I never knew about”.
Moving on, Kyuhyun confessed his devastation over how he lost his crush to fellow member Eunhyuk. Apparently, Kyuhyun met this mysterious crush when he went to the hospital after a car accident. He explained, I went to take care of some hospital bills after receiving treatment, and I experienced love at first sight with a female employee there. It was the very first time in my life that I really felt what love at first sight was like. I asked her for her phone number while taking out my phone, but after hesitating for about three seconds, she turned me down. People recognized me and started talking so I left the area, but I regretted leaving after being rejected only once —  I decided to make plans in my own way.

He decided that the best course of action was to use the same tactics that actor Park Shin Yang used in the drama ‘Lovers in Paris‘, but he soon learned that his crush had a boyfriend. Kyuhyun was so disappointed that he thought, “Fate must not exist.”
Surprisingly, he got to meet that crush again at a Super Junior fan meeting, and he thought, “Maybe she broke up with her boyfriend, and came to find me. As she got closer, I felt like my heart was about to burst, but then she got into Eunhyuk’s line. I found out right then that she was Eunhyuk’s fan. Seeing her so shy as she asked for an autograph, I wondered to myself if this was a dream. If she had been Choi Siwon’s fan, I wouldn’t have said anything, but I was shocked that she was Eunhyuk’s fan. After that, I don’t believe in fate anymore.”

Heechul began, “I’m already going at a later age than most so I wanted to enlist as quietly as possible. After my enlistment, I was planning to tell everyone through fellow member Leeteuk’s radio program. Those around me, however, said that it wouldn’t be respectful to my fans and everyone else that have interest in me, and I agreed. That’s why I revealed my decision at the company todayI did briefly think about delaying it, especially since it hasn't been that long since Super Junior’s fifth album, ‘Mr. Simple‘, was released, and also because it’s doing so well, but I thought that it’d be better to just turn my decision into action while I was still in my proper mindset. I actually feel more comfortable now that it’s gone out. In the remaining time, I’ll be concluding my broadcast activities and make a visit to my hometown in Kangwondo. There are a lot of things I have to do.

Heechul also thanked his members and fans by stating, “I’m really thankful to the Super Junior members. I’m too shy to say it directly so I texted them saying, ‘You guys need your hyung.’ I’m just so grateful for them and I trust that they’ll lead Super Junior in a great way while I’m away.”

To his fans, he said, “Thank you for loving me unconditionally over the past six years. I won’t, however, ask for you to wait for me. Instead, please support me again if you still like me when I come back with a heart of starting anew.”

Charice’s Song ‘Louder’ used in Oprah’s OWN network plug

Oprah Winfrey’s new network, OWN, has released a 30-seconder promoting its second season  using Charice‘s single “Louder.” The Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN), which started last January 1, 2011 in 80 million homes, is a specialty channel for cable television which provides a combination of original shows, strips, documentaries, specials and movies. The teaser for OWN was described on its official website as: “A whole new season of OWN starts this October, and it’s going to be big!"

“Louder” is a self-empowerment song which is one of Charice’s favorite track in her upcoming sophomore international album. It has also received rave reviews from various critics. Here's what some of them have to say about the single:

Charice has released a brand-new single called ‘Louder’ which aims to turn a frown upside down with its clap-happy beat and bright melodies. It is one of three new songs to be released within a two-month period.” – AOL Music
With her top 10 debut album and ongoing role in Glee, Charice has a toehold with US pop audiences. “Louder” is a great pop record that puts the 19-year old in a youthful, uptempo context that would slide perfectly into current pop radio playlists.” – About.com
Like Charice, ‘Louder’ is destined for greatness as the feel-good anthem of the summer. As for the Filipino singer/songwriter/’Glee’ star, she’s paving the way for future teen pop icons with a positive attitude — and we can’t wait to see how she blossoms in the industry.” – Pop Crush

Charice releases "One Day"

Charice's “Glee” character Sunshine Corazon was last seen receiving pep talk from Rachel Berry (Lea Michele) in the show’s season two finale. This time, this talented singer herself sings an anti-bully anthem “One Day.”

“Being a teenager as well, I can totally relate to them. I want them to realize that, don’t listen to anybody,” the Pinay divette said in a behind-the-scene footage while shooting the song’s music video, which was released a few days back. “One Day,” Charice shared is “all about reaching for your dream, no matter the odds. Ignore all the people who say you can’t reach your goal and always go for it!” The teen pop sensation, who had her share of bullied episodes particularly via social networking sites and nasty internet posts, added, “Just be proud of yourself. Be confident and nobody’s going to bring you down. You’re just gonna do it and go for it.”

Every once in a while, a pop song of this nature comes out to encourage positive vibes from the youth the way Christina Aguilera’s “Beautiful” did or more recently Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way.” Nick Jonas, who produced and wrote the song for Charice while the latter was in Boston filming “Here Comes the Boom,” raved about the young Filipina’s belting pipes. “Charice is amazing. I flew to Boston to produce the song for her, and she was shooting a movie there, so it was kind of a fun experience. We had a great time,” the Jo-Bro opened up to MTV.com.

He addressed Charice’s humility by saying, “The main thing about Charice that I think people connect with and the first thing I love about her is the fact that she’s just kind of a normal girl who really shines because of her vocal talent.”

Nick went on, “I’m so blessed to have had the opportunity to produce for her because she’s just so talented and I have so much respect for her. It’s amazing to see this big voice come out of her particularly in this song.”

“One Day,” which can now be seen on YouTube, pictures Charice in an ideal school environment where praises are heaped on a teenage boy for drawing a sketch of another boy while two students are seen working hard on a difficult dance routine.

"Mr. Simple" by Super Junior teasers revealed

Sapphire Blue ocean is once again coming to town!

We are just a couple of days away from one of the biggest comebacks in KPop this year, no other than Super Junior! The super popular group finally released two MV teasers of "Mr. Simple" and are now leaving the fans drooling. The single is also the lead track of the album.

After watching the teasers myself, I couldn't think of the right adjectives to describe them. They all looked so sexy yet mysterious. The first teaser shows a suave and sophisticated side of the boys, and the second shows an aggressive sound with haunting and provocative visuals. Geez, my boys have really grown up.
