Taeyeon poses with Seohyun and Kangin
SHINee's Onew on hot seat
A situation
any fan would fear. It is finally happening for SHINee’s sweet leader Onew.
After having been under scrutiny because of that ‘middle finger’ incident on a
radio broadcast, the young singer is once again causing another controversy as
he was photographed sitting inside a car with fellow singer JungAh of After School.
Not only that, he was also captured smoking on an electronic cigarette that
shocked many fans and netizens.
In a press
release, Jung Ah’s agency, Pledis Entertainment, denied all charges of a
relationship between the two idols. “The two of them are merely close friends,
not dating. As fellow entertainment workers, Jung Ah and Onew have a close
relationship where they advise each other. Today, their schedules matched so
they were only enjoying a light meal together, and weren’t dating like media
agencies have reported.”
As to his
smoking, the photo has been a shock to many netizens as it was totally opposite
to his usual proper and young innocent image. However, some netizens have
spoken up on his defense to say that smoking electronic cigarettes is not a big
deal.
They
commented, “He’s an adult and he wasn’t on broadcast”, “I was surprised, but I
can understand”, “I liked him because of his youthful image”, “He’s in deep
trouble”, “He needs to take care of his
image”, and more. But the trending comment on ALK from user hellokaylie wrote, “Your
oppa cusses. Your oppa hates things. Your oppa flips people off. Your oppa
drinks or smokes. Your oppa masturbates. Your oppa has sex. Your oppa watches
porn. Let it go and stop treating someone in their mid/late twenties like
they’re a child”.

South Korean actress Park Shin Hye was
almost moved to tears when she finally met her Filipino fans. The
beautiful actress arrived Friday morning, a day before her fan conference at
the CCP Complex in Pasay City. Her visit in Manila is part of her Asian tour
dubbed Kiss Of Angel, which celebrates her 10th anniversary as an actress.
During a press conference held shortly after her arrival on Friday, she shared that she has been in touch with her Filipino fans via micro-blogging site Twitter, but did not expect the turn-out of the crowd who welcomed her at the airport. Addressing local entertainment press through a translator, she said, "Actually, in the airport, I almost cried because many fans were there calling my name. Even on Twitter, many Filipino fans [have been] sending mentions to me, but I was not able to reply that well. So I was kind of sad, [that's why] I'm really glad to meet everyone tomorrow."
In a one-on-one interview with ABS-CBN News' MJ Felipe, the 23-year-old actress admitted she is nervous about her fan conference, but said she had prepared to showcase her other talents to her Pinoy followers. "I prepared a song, which is the original soundtrack of one of my drama series, and also [since] K-Pop is the the trend, I will also somehow show the dance moves," she said.
Asked during the press conference what she hopes to impart to aspiring actors, Shin Hye said she feels she is in no position to give advice, citing her relative young age. But the drama actress is looking forward to becoming a veteran in the business soon enough, as she sees herself still acting a decade from now. "Until now I still enjoy my work, so I want my future, 10 years from now, to be the same as what I have now, enjoying my work," she said.

find a job that you love, you’ll never work a day in your life.“I’ve been
singing since I was young. That’s what I want to do. I wanna be on stage and
sing in front of people so I’m living my dream. Just follow your heart. If you
love what you do, you’ll see it unfold before your eyes, it’s going to happen,”
she said.
