Big Bang: Seungri regrets deeply

Big Bang members recently participated in a show through portal site Naver. Leader G-Dragon hosted the said event and he was joined by fellow members Taeyang and Daesung during a talk session. During the show, the boys shared about TOP who injured himself on the set of his film Alumnus. Then, they started talking about Seungri who caused himself quite a scandal both in Japan and Hongkong.

G-Dragon stated, “Seungri is doing well. He’s currently working in Japan. He’s fine.”

Despite the message, the three of them looked a bit uncomfortable talking about him. Taeyang spoke carefully, “Let me be honest about this. We reprimanded him a lot. He’s reflecting on his actions right now. Don’t people make mistakes? As his brothers, we’ve forgiven him. These are problems that we must carry with us. Once again, we reprimanded Seungri and will make sure that it won’t happen again.”

G-Dragon knelt down on his knees and held his hands up following Taeyang’s speech while Daesung added, “Shall we finish this off by saying ‘Seungri-ya, we miss you. We love you’?”

Taeyang honestly replied back, “I can’t actually say that I love him right at this moment. I think he needs more time to reflect.”

G-Dragon added, “I nor any of us, are in any position to be reprimanding anyone, but I will work hard if it means that we can show a better image to everyone. I think it’s all up to us as to how well we do. He’s currently self-reflecting, I know because I’ve been through it before. These times aren’t just wasted times, but times that truly help your life. Thinking about it in a different light, you can see it as a good experience as well. If you all view him in a good light, I’m sure that he will be able to show you a better image as an even better man and adult.”

Concluding, G-Dragon stated towards Seungri, “Seungri, I don’t love you yet as well but I will love you. I miss you. Fighting.” 

G-Dragon recently released a new album, One of a Kind. The group will also go on a world tour soon.

Leeteuk finally enters the military in October

The leader of one of the most popular K-pop boy bands will be enlisting in the Korean military next month. It was announced that Leeteuk, leader of Super Junior, will be enlisting in the army on October 30. He will enter the 306 Support Group at an army camp in Uijeongbu, Gyeonggi province in South Korea. There he will receive five weeks of basic military training after which he will start completing his 21-month military service. He will be discharged in 2014.

Leeteuk opted to be in the active duty service despite that he sustained a herniated disc in a car accident in 2007. With his enlistment, he will be leaving his tv shows Strong Heart and Star King. He recently finished the reality tv show We Got Married where he was paired with actress Kang Sora.

The eternal leader, as fans call him, will be the third member of Super Junior to enlist in the military. In 2010, Kangin was the first to start his military conscription following his hiatus from Super Junior in 2009 after he got involved in controversies. He was discharged from the army April of this year. He was followed by Heechul who is now a public service personnel owing to his injury and will be discharged next year.

Super Junior recently performed at the SMTown Live World Tour III held last September 22 in Jakarta, Indonesia, along with fellow SM Entertainment artists Girls Generation, SHINee, f(x), EXO, Kangta, TVXQ and BoA with an estimated 50,000 fans in attendance. With his military service, Leeteuk will be absent in the next SMTown tours in Singapore on November 23 and in Thailand on November 25.

Wonder Girls named one of the Best Girl Groups of all time

JYP’s American dream may sweep all of us by storm pretty soon. Us Weekly has named the Wonder Girls one of the Best Girl Groups of All Time. Wonder Girls showed up in the American entertainment magazine’s list along with other notable groups like the Spice Girls, Destiny’s Child, Dixie Chicks, and TLC.

Us Weekly wrote: “The South Korean girl-group formed by Yubin, [Yenny], [Sun], Sohee and [Lim] formed in 2007 and soon released their debut single, ‘Irony’. Other singles include ‘Tell Me‘ and ‘This Fool‘. Throughout the 2000s, the group suffered many member rotations, though they are the first Korean group to ever enter the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart.”

Joo Won says he could've dated UEE

Korean actor Joo Won, best known for his roles in television dramas Baker King and Bridal Mask, shared that he and singer-actress UEE of girl group After School could’ve become a couple following their roles in the drama Ojakgyo Brothers.

Joo Won said, “As I saw myself falling deeper into my character’s feelings for Uee, I saw that in real life also, I developed a curiousity about her.  At that time, in that situation, if just one of us had made up our minds and made a dash towards the other, we could have become a real-life couple.”  

Interesting indeed. They did seem like a real couple to me, and I know you did, too. On related news, UEE has been casted as the female lead for an upcoming drama.

Edison Chen with a new love

Edison Chen is probably one of those that you will never forget for the rest of your life. Honestly, I wouldn’t even know this man if not for his infamous scandals and stuff, whatever you want to call them. And after all that’s been said and done, the actor admitted he’s now a changed man. Interesting.

And just like any other roller-coaster love ride, Edison was spotted recently around Hong Kong with his new Taiwanese-Korean lover by the name of  Angela Meng. He reportedly met and fell in love with her, who happens to works at his store, in July this year. They also reportedly had a vacation in the US for a month. The duo had claimed that they were on a business trip, but it was believed they spent most of the trip in their hotel. They were spotted roaming the streets of Hong Kong while chatting and joking with each other. Angela was seen cozying up with him and occasionally patted him on his back. Both blew into each other's ears. They returned to their hotel shortly after and were not seen after that.

An insider revealed, "That girl [Angela] doesn't know about Edison's past since she just returned from studying abroad. I don't think she's the type who will take compromising photos with him."

When asked on his views on his new girlfriend, the actor revealed that he could communicate very well with Angela and that she was not greedy as she would refuse to accept expensive gifts. He stated that he had finally found his true love, and that he was serious this time.
