Rumored lovers Rainie Yang and Prince have commented on their dating rumours on their
microblogs for the first time after reports of their trip to Hawaii surfaced. The
pair was spotted alone at the airport in Hawaii last week, but their manager
claimed that they were there with a group of friends.
Rainie
recently pleaded with fans to stop speculating about her romance with Prince.
“For my sake, please be a silent observer and audience instead of commenting
further,” she wrote on her microblog. Prince, who
is a member of Taiwanese boy band JPM, also posted an ambiguous comment on his
microblog, “No matter what people say, one day I will make you understand:
never give up.”
Fans
interpreted it as Prince’s way of encouraging the actress and sharing her
burden as she faces huge pressure after their relationship had been exposed. According
to the Taiwanese media, Prince had initially invited his parents on the trip,
but they turned him down because they were afraid that the couple would not be
able to fully enjoy themselves if they had tagged along. Netizens also noted
that while the pair did not take any photos together during the vacation,
Rainie and Prince were wearing the same sunglasses and posed against a similar
background in their individual shots posted on their respective microblogs.
However,
Rainie’s manager once again emphasised that the two had gone to Hawaii with
other friends.Prince’s
manager also said, “They are just friends, please don’t think too much into
it.”
Dating
rumours between the 28-year-old Rainie and 23-year-old Prince first surfaced
last year after the pair were spotted visiting each other’s house on a few
separate occasions last year, but both stars have repeatedly they are more than
just friends.
