Kim Chui's spoiled friendship with Maja Salvador

Maja Salvador was Kim Chiu's confidant when she got her heart broken. Now the latter regrets how their friendship got strained by her former flame Gerald Anderson's purported romantic intentions for Maja.

Kim’s dismay over the situation is driven not by bitterness over whatever goes on between Maja and Gerald, as she pointed out to reporters at their television series Ina, Kapatid, Anak press conference, but by the fact that "It’s like [Maja] didn’t mean what she said to me before, when I was at my lowest." However, although she was shocked by the turn of events, Kim stressed that she's happy for the two. “There’s truly nothing wrong with the two of them dating since they’re both single. It’s just depressing that our friendship has turned out to be like this”, Kim added.

According to Kim, Maja sought her permission, although it was not made clear what it was exactly for. “Why does my permission even needed, Gerald and I have gone separate ways for the longest time.” In spite of all this test to their friendship, Kim said she and Maja are okay, and that they can work professionally for their primetime series.

Kim likewise confessed that she has grown exasperated over queries about Gerald since she has long moved on from that chapter. The two last worked in the film Till My Heartaches End  before briefly reuniting in 24/7 In Love, where she noted, "We didn'treally talk that much. We just did it for work." Trying to hold back tears, she has this to say about Gerald and Maja: "I don't care about them anymore. She knows Gerald, who Gerald is."

Kim, however, wasn't able to exactly address the issue about "unfollowing" Maja on photo-sharing application Instagram.

Ji Hyun Woo calls Yoo In Na often

Ji Hyun Woo, who is currently serving in the military, showed his unfailing love towards the beautiful Yoo In Na. The actor participated in the recent broadcast of Section TV Entertainment Relay for the 60th anniversary of the 6.25 war and shared tidbits about their blossoming love life.

When he was asked if he still talks with Yoo In Na frequently, he answered, "We keep in touch often. I entered the military just a few months ago, so she still always answers my calls."

He also shared, “I gained some weight recently, so I'm trying to lose it."

Ji Hyun Woo received attention after he revealed in public that he likes Yoo In Na, his co-star in the television drama Queen In-Hyun’s Man. After two months of confirming their relationship, he was enlisted into the army on August 7th, 2012.

Shin Se Kyung can't sleep because of Girls' Generation

Gorgeous young actress Shin Se Kyung proved to be a fan of Girls’ Generation. She recently posted different messages about the group’s new album I Got A Boy on her Twitter account.

The actress first wrote “Ah, I can’t sleep of the music? What can I do?... Girls' Generation, can you hear my heartbeat?” The she added “What am I going to do? I should sleep. I want to sleep, but everything looks so pretty right now. I should sleep, but it will be hard to forget Girls' Generation's performances”. Her tweets amused fans and netizens and they randomly replied to her posts cheerfully.

Shin Se Kyung and Girls' Generation's member Yuri participated in the drama Fashion King in early 2012. She also shared in different interviews that she is friends with Sooyoung because they go to the same university.

Dongwoo reveals INFINITE's way of fighting with one another

INFINITE always seems to have excellent teamwork, but member Dongwoo recently shared that the members have been in a couple of fist fights with each other as well. INFINITE H, made up of him and Hoya, appeared on News12-Issue & People and shared some stories about INFINITE H’s formation and the group’s teamwork.

Dongwoo stated, “Hoya and I both like to listen to hip hop. My representative told us that we suit each other well and subsequently, we began to promote Without You.”

Hoya then shared, “My teamwork with Dongwoo is fairly good. That was a joke, but honestly, we match very well. Before INFINITE was created during our trainee period, the two of us said to each other that it would be nice if we formed a hip hop team.”

The duo was later asked if INFINITE has ever fought before, and Dongwoo answered, “Between our members, we are honest with each other in a manly way, and we have to speak to each other with respect to get along. But when we fight, there were times that we had fist fights with each other."

He continued, "Sometimes, we just have to use our strength. Who fought with whom is a secret, and I don’t think it’s a bad thing. We still have a lot of growing up to do. We should experience fist fighting with each other when we’re young. We also have to experience taking the wrong path.”

ADAM Couple of WGM reunited

It seems that the popularity of the famous Adam Couple has not grown weaker in years. Jo Kwon of 2AM and Gain of Brown Eyed Girls got together for a brief moment at the 2012 MBC Gayo Daejun and had fans screaming in total bliss.

The two young idols displayed their closeness with a performance of their famous song We Fell In Love and The Day We Confessed. The pair ended their stint a long time ago in the popular fake-marraige reality program We Got Married but their popularity is still going strong.

Fans and netizens commented "The best couple in WGM ever", "These two shall never leave my heart", "Bring them back on WGM", "They match each other so well, it's as if they're really dating", "The perfect reunion", etc.

Yoon Jin Yi on popular MeAhri-Yoon couple in AGD

Korean television drama A Gentleman’s Dignity was such a major hit not only in Korea but also in other parts of Asia that thousands of fans were actually shipping for their favorite couples in the drama here and there. One couple that was instantly loved by the audience were MeAhri and Choin Yoon, played by gorgeous newbie Yoon Jin Yi and veteran singer-actor Kim Min Jong. Fans were quick to express that they easily fell in love with the characters’ unique storyline, a 17-year age gap between two compassionate souls.

But what did the two really felt about their characters and about each other? In an interview, Yoon Jin Yi stated, "This was my debut drama, and Kim Min Jong (oppa) took care of me the most on the set. He's known to be a gentleman, I don't think he has any anti fans. He is considerate, and he says many good words. He is really a good person.”

This was just Jin Yi’s response to Kim Min Jong's compliment during an earlier interview where he stated, "Yoon Jin Yi is a really nice girl. We are 18 years apart, but I didn't feel the age gap. Her looks, personality, and cuteness is the best.”

When asked if she would say yes to Kim Min Jong if he asked her for a date, Jin Yi smiled and laughed. "Will Min Jong (oppa) ask me to date him? I don't think that will happen. He just likes me as  Me Ah Ri on the set, although I still think he does like me and think deeply of me as a younger sister.”

She continued, “After acting with Min Jong (oppa) and the others (oppas), I learned how to think deeply. I even thought that I must find a man who thinks deeply. My personal view of men changed. I used to like someone who’s fun, but now I like someone like Yoon's character. He is considerate and takes care of other people." 

Jin Yi concluded, "I still like myself as Me Ah Ri and now that the filming is over, I'm sad I won't be able to see Yoon, Do Jin oppa, and the others."

Happy New Year!

I sincerely hope all of you had an incredible year-end celebration. Of course, that’s how anybody’s 2012 should be ending unquestionably, right? Mine was an appalling roller-coaster ride [personal matters included, haha]. On the other hand, I give great THANKS to my devotion to Asian stuff for my intact sanity. So here I am again harking back to new people, events, shows, etc. that made my own 2012 quiet an unforgettable year.
