Super Junior’s Yesung finally bid
his fans goodbye. And as he recently promised, he enlisted as quietly as possible.
SM
Entertainment announced, “His military training area is far away, and
he wants to enlist quietly. The Super Junior members will not be accompanying
him this time.”
But even though he enlisted quietly, hundreds of fans from Korea
and overseas gathered in front of his enlistment site. As he wished
for a quiet enlistment, Yesung didn’t exit his car and drove straight into the
reserve enlistment site. He did tweet, “Thank you for
coming so far.. I told you not to come.. Everyone, be healthy. See you again,
ELF ^^”. Even though numerous media outlets stood in front of the driveway,
they were unable to snap a photo of him.
Prior to his enlistment, the idol posted
on his Twitter, “I will miss it all. Stages, songs… I look forward the day we
meet again, ELF. No worries, love you all!”, and attached the above photo. He
will enter through the army division located in Jeonju and receive basic
training for four weeks before serving as a public service worker for 23
months.
His final stage performance before enlistment was on March 24 for Super Junior’s Super Show 5 performance in Seoul.
