Talented and sexy actress Angel Locsin might spread her wings abroad as she was offered to shoot a film in Jakarta, Indonesia.
In a report on Journal Online, the film, which could be helmed by an Indonesian director and produced by a Jakarta-based Filipino producer, will be of the horror-romance genre. Angel will be paired with an Indonesian actor from Jakarta.
The report added that the movie will be shot entirely in Jakarta, and that her lines will require her to speak in English, Filipino, as well as Bahasa Jakarta. A dialogue coach is said to have been promised to guide the actress.
Angel has already read the gist of the story and has requested for a script, said the same report. Although it is yet to be announced if the actress has accepted the offer, Angel seems keen on doing the movie, which should begin shooting in July.
The Filipino producer, who was not named in the report, said in her interview that Angel is well-known in Indonesia, just like balladeer Christian Bautista, who has sold numerous records and plays lead in the Indonesian film "Jayden's Choir." Angle's series “Imortal” with John Lloyd Cruz, the producer said, has gained a strong following in her country.
Aware that Angel is one of the busiest stars in Philippine show business---juggling challenging roles in “Imortal” and in her movie with Aga Muhlach and Jake Cuenca---the producer nevertheless hopes that Angel will be able to join the still-untitled film.
Angel’s talent was recognized internationally in 2009 with a nomination for Best Actress at the 37th International Emmy Awards for her portrayal of she-wolf Lyka Ortega on “Lobo.”
Meanwhile, Angel is said to have been spotted last March 27 with Azkals striker Phil Younghusband at a restaurant in Serendra, The Fort. According to PEP Scoopbox, the two attended worship service at Victory Christian Fellowship within the vicinity. Phil is also said to have hitched a ride with Angel.
Following Phil’s much-talked about Twitter date proposal to Angel last February, the two have admitted in separate interviews that they have gaone out a few other times.
