SM Entertainment has released EXO two years after their debut for f(x). EXO is 'EXO PLANET' that means that they will be new stars to the world. It also means that you cannot find the charms that the members have gotten from outer space. The members include leader Suho, Baekhyun, Chanyeol, D.O, Kai and Sehun.
Suho started off the interview by saying "EXO is derived from EXO PLANET and I think it's the name that suits us the most. We want to let the world know who we are" and laughed by saying "It's been 3 weeks since we came on earth but I think we got used to the area quickly."
After 100 days of promotions via teaser videos, they finally had their debut showcase on the 31st of March. Fans had cheered on them like crazy, and the members' reactions weren’t different. They still remember how touched they were during the showcase. Kai shared, "Five seconds before the stage, it’s as if my heart was exploding. I was nervous but I felt ecstatic after hearing the fans shouts. It was an indescribable feeling." Then he went on by saying "As I started the dance with the music, I thought "Ah this is why I am a singer. I wouldn't regret it even if I die onstage".
D.O also shared, "It's been 3 weeks into our promotions. There are no difficulties so far. I am so happy to be on stage. Since it was an event that I have dreamt of, it is very exciting. I think I'd show the powers of superman on stage".
Even before debut,
these boys had already gotten themselves some love and attention. They always
had the tag 'SM Trainees'. Chanyeol expressed his true feelings "The title 'SM
Trainees' is quite burdensome. The seniors did so well that it's a tremendous pressure
to follow them up from behind.”
Suho added "We tried our best to perfection everything because of the anticipation. We have confidence and we will embrace ourselves with a different type of music alongside other idols. We will try our best for people to notice us by saying 'Ah this is EXO-K's music. We want to become a group that shares the love to others rather than receiving it. We weren't able to do community service yet after having our debut, but we are willing to do so. We will try to work on smaller things first"
EXO-K has been helping out in local senior homes and schools for the deaf people since their trainee days. They had been cleaning and learning sign languages for the children. They are even remembered as well mannered and caring boys to the elderly and children rather than an idol group. They promised "We will not get caught by the celebrity disease and we will maintain our spots. We will become a group that will continue to reach forward rather than thinking it's the end".
