Teen Nick's "The Wonder Girls" to start airing in February

Korean idols Wonder Girls' first ever US TV movie, which was previously known to be titled ‘Wonder Girls at the Apollo’, has now been altered to ‘The Wonder Girls’ in order to gain the interest of both foreign and domestic fans.

‘The Wonder Girls’ will be broadcasted in Teen Nick, which is affiliated to one of the world’s largest media company Viacom/MTV networks. Teen Nick channel, which is famous to 70 million households in America, produced many stars through their shows in the past like rapper Drake (‘Degrassi: The Next Generation), Miranda Cosgrove (‘iCarly’), Keke Palmer (‘True Jackson’) and Victoria Justice (‘Zoey 101′). The show is also the first in the history of American television to feature Asian singers as its lead actors which is why it is gaining a lot of interest amongst observers.

Last January 11th, Wonder Girls released their music video for ‘The DJ is mine’, a song from the movie’s OST, through the event The International Consumer Electronics Show, CES. It was also known that Park Jin-Young and Nick Cannon were present in the event, much to the delight of many.

‘The Wonder Girls’ performance on their music video can be enjoyed in 3D form with the help of Samsung electronics. Meanwhile, the girls will be heading to the US after their promotions in China.
