Balladeer Christian Bautista is apparently thrilled over getting
to spend more time with his Romanian-Chinese girlfriend Carla Dunareanu now that she's staying in the country for a year. The
singer-actress, one of his co-stars in the Pan-Asian musical series The Kitchen Musical, is currently
working as a disk jockey for Magic 89.9 DWTM.
In previous
interviews, Singapore-based Carla has expressed her openness to try local
showbiz, and has also started learning the Filipino language. Christian looks
to be in the relationship for the long haul. Initially not a fan of
long-distance relationships, he took a shot with Carla and now that she’s
temporarily staying in the Philippines
Since
officially becoming a couple last February, Christian’s relationship with
Carla has become deeper especially since he said they spend more time together.
Their respective families also support the couple’s young relationship. “They’re
happy, my family is very okay with Carla. She’s also very happy. She’s already
become part of my family”, Christian enthused.
He has
likewise introduced her to his friends, and even to his ex-girlfriend Rachelle
Ann Go. The meeting took place when they watched The Little Mermaid the
musical, in which Rachelle Ann starred. Christian
is currently busy with his singing commitments, as well as his comeback to
acting via primetime series Princess and I.
