Likely to become After School's new leader: Jung-ah or Nana

The moment every fan fears to happen. Since Korean girl group After School has a unique concept of admission and graduation, which means members' withdrawal and addition come naturally, loyal fans are always heartbroken when a member graduates.

One of the first class members Soyoung withdraw from the group in 2009 and E-Young was added late 2010. Rapper and my favorite member Bekah graduated just last year and Ga-Eun was added just recently. On the 5th of this month, it was announced that leader Kahi will be graduating, and thus, will not be appearing in the group's upcoming comeback. The news literally shocked Kpop, although it was kind of expected already because of her age. Still, I personally think that Kahi is a great loss since she makes After School a high-class group due to her outstanding dancing/singing skills and superb leadership, not to mention her amazing choreography.

Anyway, because of this double-header news of leaving and imminent comeback, attention shifted as to who will fill Kahi's shoes and be the new After School leader. A reliable source tipped, "It seems that the empty leader position will be taken on by Jung-ah. Although there are still discussions on going, Jung-ah as the oldest member, unless something happens, will be promoting to the leader's position."

However, eagle-eyed netizens spotted what may have been a hint in one of the group's teaser photos for their comeback. In the picture, only Nana was wearing a pair of gold-plated shoes instead of the usual black pairs that the others are wearing. During their Bang! comeback a couple of years ago, then-leader Kahi showed a similar style with her trademark gold drum, differentiating her from the rest and marked her position as the leader.

Pledis Entertainment neither denied nor confirmed this, stating "You will know during their comeback stage on the 21st."
